Colonel (Retired) Tom Tucker has been associated with the National Guard for over 40 years, serving as a traditional Guardsman,
on active duty, as a support contractor, and now as Vice President for Business Development for The Conaway Group.
Tom's experience as the Army National Guard Chief of Human Resources (G1) provided him senior leader exposure,
experience and direct interface with the Department of the Army and Department of Defense program and budget processes.
He managed and supervised the development and implementation of personnel related policies and programs supporting the
States/Territories. Other senior level assignments included serving the Chief, National Guard Bureau and the Director,
Army National Guard as Executive Officer, and service as the Deputy Chief, National Guard Bureau Office of Policy and
Legislative Liaison.
Tom's assignments serving the senior leadership of the National Guard Bureau and the State/Territory Adjutants General,
combined with his unit and organizational level experience offer an extensive understanding of the National Guard and
Department of Defense organizational structure and management dynamics.
